I just spoke to my biological father on the phone, for the first time since I was seven. He was stumbling over his words, apologizing for the lost time, and telling me that he loved me. I told him that I loved him too. I don’t think I’ve ever felt a heavier weight being lifted off of my shoulders in my life…than the one that just was. And I’ve never felt this way before. So...
